Paula Shoultz is a multidisciplinary artist based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Since 2007 Paula has been practicing the art of flower design, offering design for weddings and events. She makes it her mission to make her floral design practice sustainable by reducing waste and avoiding use of floral foam. Shoultz has been using her camera to document her own life, the lives of people close to her since the 1900s and continues to help other families capture their special moments through her photography services. By way of her art practice she tells stories and conducts ongoing research about the world around her. From 2009-2024, Shoultz curated vibrant art exhibits south of downtown helping many local artists exhibit their works for the first time.
In 2021 Paula created a brand called the Archivist bringing the many facets of her creative endeavors together focusing on building a more just, creative and loving world through inclusion and earnest exploration of art. Currently Paula conducts her creative practice, artistic workshops and peer support sessions, in an historic storefront at 805 S. Meridian Street.
